PURPOSE:

This Maritime Circular highlights the situation in the southern red sea and the Gulf of Aden and its purpose is to advise all ships that are currently operating in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden should exercise increased caution and vigilance, due to the ongoing conflict in Yemen and recent developments in the region, since the start of the Israel-Gaza conflict that negatively impacted the maritime security situation in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
